Hello,
We are having an issue with the appointment form in Lifecare. When a user fills the fields and sends the form it does not give the user any signal (or loading image) that the form is processing and it takes too long for the template to respond or show a popup with the success message, which makes users to send the form several times.
We appreciate your help resolving this issue.
PS: We tried the code fix you posted here but that does not resolve the problem.
Thank you.
You have not created any of the departments. Kindly create some departments and add available timings for doctors to schedule their timings in department meta options. After creating departments, try submitting the form and see. If the success message takes too long to appear then let us know. Then we can take a closer look at it.
Hi,
We create one department and add available timings for the three doctors to schedule their timings in department meta options but we still have the problem. We are using the appointment form only at home page exactly as the demo page.
Thanks a lot!
I have cross checked multiple times in both Chrome and Mozilla browsers. It’s working fine at my end. I have attached a screenshot of my screen. Have a look at it.
Hi Pam, the problem is that Success popup takes too long and the form is sending more than one appointment. I have attached a screenshot of our email with six appointments for the same user:
Nombre : sdfgdf
Email : http://www.aivah.com@gmail.com
Fecha: 25-08-2016
Telefono: 676868678768
Once the user fills the form and click the button, he has to wait some seconds to see de success message, while he’s waiting, he can click the button again as many times until the success message appears. How can we fix that?
Yes, it will take some 2 to 3 seconds to appear success message. Sometimes it takes much time to appear success message and that depends on your server. If there is a server downtime then emails will be delivered slowly.
If you click so many times on the submit button then so many emails will be sent to your email.
