Hi,

first of all… I have been sending you messages via Skype for a couple of days now and you have been ignoring me…

1.) How do I change appointment form button color on front page? I know there is it in theme options but it changes color only on appointment page on front page Appointment callout it stays the same… and what’s with the 8 possible colors, why didn’t you put a HTML color code like for everything esle

2.) Date of birth on appointment form… really? selecting on a calendar.. .what if someone is born in 1920s how many clicks is it for a person???? That is just dumb and stupid

3.) How come you advertise that your theme is fully customizable but you cannot add or remove field from appointment form? That is really dumb

4.) I want an option to add or remove fileds on an appointment form.

Please respond it is very urgent.

We might have missed you as we were experiencing the huge support today. Anyway here are the answers to your questions.

1) Appointment Form Button colour we have added but forgot to add that for the callout box as well. We will consider adding for that as well and yes we will see if we can add the HEX Color Value options instead of having the predefined colours.

2) We have added a feature for the DOB option in the very recent update.

3) Customisable options for the styles and other many areas not the form fields. Coz for the form fields you need to use the Gravity Forms or something different plugin to have a customised form.

4) To customise the appointment form you need to replicate the template_appointment.php located in lifecare/medical/ folder and place it in your child theme folder. And change the fields according to your requirements.

Ok I don’t understand the difference beetween LifeCare and LifeCare Child. Currently I have LifeCare theme installed. You should really care for what you write in you advertising texts because it clearly says that “theme is fully Customizable” but somehow you cannot change a single button color. I am very dissapointed with this.

When you are going to update the theme to latest version, then the changes what you have made in Parent Theme will be lost. So for that purpose, you have to create child theme and you can customize the code in child theme. So whenever you update the theme, you don’t lose the modified code which you have made in child theme when the parent theme updates.

Hi I have to agree especially with the first comment. I really just need to change the color of the button on the front page. Any update to this? Even if there is somewhere within the code that this can be changed…any direction so that this can get fixed immediately?

That is an appointment callout shortcode what we have used in frontpage. Have to add button color option in the shortcode. If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can add it for you. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

There are some 3 to 4 files to be edited. If you can provide us wp-logins we’ll do it for you and we’ll let you know what changes I have made in the files. Also I’ll see the google map widget issue.

Edited files for appointment callout shortcode: appointmentcallout.php, additional-sh-meta.php, medical-script.js
Edited files for widget: widgets/appointment.php
And to redirect the home page form to appointment form: You have to select the appointment page in your theme options/Medical Settings/ Appointment Page(The WordPress page template used to display the Appointment Form.)

@dombarnard: I have added button color option(dropdown) in both shortcode and widget. You can change those colors by going to specific shortcode which is available in shortcode generator and widget which is available in your widgets section.

Hello,

I also need to change the widget color of the appointment button for my sidebars…to the same gray as on my home page. Please let me know how to do this or if you need to update the style sheet for the widget, please do.
