One of the main issues, whether it is from the locations page map being consistently 100 meters to the West, or being able to add features to the tabbed menu in the pricing – my main problem with this theme is too much is custom code. Little of it is easily editable and able to be customized for individual needs.
Specifically – I am trying to correct the location on map on the Locations page. The simple solution would be to take the embedded Iframe code I received from Google on the Contact page I created that is the correct location and slap that code directly into the Location page – BUT I CAN’T.
Let me know where I need to recode to do this.
BOOKINGS PAGE can’t be edited unless you edit template-booking.php. Ridiculous. A template page should still be able to be edited or changed. QUIT HARD-CODING it in, it makes it incredibly difficult for your users to use the theme.
The main reason I bought this theme was because of the booking options. Now seeing that I can’t make any actual edits to this page without hard coding changes, I’m beginning to question my purchase.
Yes, its possible to extend the booking system but you need to hire a professional to get customized like when you purchase a car and want to customize or get extra fittings then you need to pay for that. Not all the things will be customizable. If you need help we can let you know the location of the files.
Yes, please let me know which files. It just seems a little misleading to have a page that has 0 options that can be changed. It should have some level of customization. For the high price tag, I expected more. I only have 1 property, and I don’t even have the option to remove that drop down field from the form.
I’ve paid much less for much more customization options. I’ve never seen a page template where you can’t edit a single thing without going into the code. I have many clients where I have bought niche themes, and I have never once run into these issues. I’m just very disappointed.
