Hi Guys,

I just noticed that since I upgraded to 4.1.0 my Album Tracklist not showing up on Artist’s Profile page.

I know it was there when i had first installed 2.5.x version.

But I have migrated everything to a new server and upgraded to version 4.1.0 – which is when I noticed the Album Tracklist are not showing up on Artist’s Profile page when viewing individual artist.

Please advise.

Album’s tracklist won’t show up on artist page when you view individual artist post. It will only display artist information what you have provided in the artist post meta.

I am not sure what you mean by artist post meta.

But is there a way to use some short code to list the artist’s album releases.

something like this: https://pro.beatport.com/artist/deadmau5/26182

I prefer just a bunch of tracks listing down (just like in the album track listing).

Hi Pam,

Thanks for the suggestion, however that is not the solution i am looking for.

I find a lot of users ignoring the the album list.

What is more effective which is what I am looking for is the ability to manual add tracklists under each artists. The tracklist is a manual compilation from various albums.

If you are a DJ/Producer, 80% chance the artist will only have a bunch of single mixes or remixes, therefore album list does not make sense for DJs using this feature (“More Artists From” and “More Albums From”).

Please see attached file that I have mocked up for you in photoshop. I am not asking much in terms of re-writing anything. Just shortcodes to each individual tracks to allow a compilation of tracklist.

Please advise.

We will consider making some tracks lists for artists but its not so easy to make so it will take time to create and its a good idea. Thanks for your suggestion. Once it is ready add we will let you know
