This may be better answered via email instead of forum but I have some questions or issues. See below:

1. You were kind enough to add some code to the DJmix template page to allow me to add content or shortcodes to that page. See http://www.metrojethros.com/songs and you will see the content that was added about the djmix.
What is the code that you added to that template page so that I may “learn” or see how that was fixed. I may want to do this with other template pages.

How can I change the code such that I can change the colors used for the accordian? Would you show me where this is in the editior and how I can change the colors?

Finally, since you’ve made custome code additions, if I upgrade the theme to a new version, will these changes be lost? If so, how can I add a child theme?

2. How can I remove the titles in the slider? Technically I don’t want any text there, but I noticed when creating the slides I had to add some content in there for it to work… leaving no content would simply show a small colored box on the side. How can I change the color of this content?

3. You added some custome code for me on the bottom of the blog page, so that it would show addition articles on pages like, 1,2,3… how can I change the color of these buttons and what is the code and where did you insert it to create these buttons? I’m trying to learn so that I will ask for support less often.

4. My final question is with the contact page I have created see http://www.metrojethros.com/contact-us I am using Ninja forms plugin with styling so that I can make the form look better and stylish. When users first click on the contact us page the form is formatted incorrectly.. after refreshing the page it looks normal. This is very frustrating as I paid for this popular contact form but I can’t get it to work correctly.. I inquired with the plugin developer and they suggested it was an issue with how the theme handles AJAX..or something. What do you think is causing me this problem and can you fix it?

Below are the answers to your questions

1) I have added the following code in the musicband/template_djmix.php

– You can edit the colors in css/shortcodes.css file via FTP not via wordpress editor.
– You need to upload parent theme i mean musicplay and musicplay-child and activate child theme. So whenever you wish to make any modifications then you can copy that code from the parent theme and place that in the child theme and alter the changes you wish to do this way you may not loose the future updates.

2) Slider with no caption will be fixed in the next update.
– Simply download the firebug addon for your firefox browser and inspect the element with firebug to see the element css in the right pane of the firebug debugger and copy that class name and in style.css of the child theme you can alter the code and add your own properties.

3) Same as above mentioned in point (2) where you can inspect element and alter the coding.
4) Yes due to the nature of the theme AJAXIFIED it renders the css on refresh as it doesn’t render the result or css when menu menu is triggered or page is loaded on ajax request. I will look into Ninja Forms as we are looking to make it compatible with Ninja and Gravity Forms as well.
