You have to change the autoplay option to true in musicplay/musicband/fwap/js/jquery.fullwidthautoplayer.js file on line no around 48

options.autoPlay = true;

I followed your instructions:

but the audio player still makes no sound using an iPhone 6 ios 10.1.1

As we don’t have iPhone 6 Plus, we have cross checked it in iPhone 5S ios 10.0.1 and iPhone 5 ios 7.0.2 and it’s working fine at our end. I think you need to clear your cache, once clear your cache in both of your mobiles and check it out. Can you tell me which version of the theme are you using?

And we are upgrading the iPhone 5s ios version to 10.1.1, we’ll check it in that version and we’ll let you know.

I have tested with latest version in chrome and safari iPhone 5 and 5S and it is working fine. There is no issue with any versions.

It does not work with iPhone 6plus ios 10.1.1. I’ve cleared the cache numerous times (reset the phone) and it still doesn’t work (everything is there but no sound) on iPhone 6plus.

I also have an iPhone 5 with ios 10.0.2 and it works on that phone. But as you know the iPhone 5 is an old phone. Apple is now selling iPhone 7’s. Apple has computer models of the iPhone 6plus if you are an Apple developer.

I am using Musicplay version 6.0.1 and the musicplay-child version 5.2.0.

Kindly provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
Note: Before providing the wp-logins to any support staff, kindly please make sure you take a backup of everything including wordpress content, theme options, widgets etc.

Your support page was down and there was no way to contact you.

Please check MusicPlay 7.1 with iPhone 6 Plus ios 10.1.1. I’ve checked MusicPlay 6, 6.1, 7 and 7.1 with iPhone 6 Plus ios 10.1.1 and the music player does not produce sound. But it does produce sound in iPhone 5. Please check it with iPhone 6 Plus and newer phones.

Please help MusicPlay music player work for mobile. Thank you.

I had the same problem, I been trying for 3 days figuring this out on since I decided to rebuild my site and downloaded the new version of the MusicPlay’s theme, It does not work unless you are logged in WP Dashboard, if you are logged in it works in the browser you are working on but if you check on other devices it does not work. I checked in on 4 different computers Macbook Pro, Imac, PC, Ipad, Iphone 6s, Galaxy S7. I thought it was me somehow I reinstalled WordPress like 10 different times and then I figure I would try the old version of the MusicPlay Theme and boom it works. I mean the only thing I notice that did NOT work was the Radio / Music Player, once you install the theme and set your Stream IP and load the page on a Non WP logged in device the graphic for the radio play button looks distorted and there is no sound. Like I said its been a couple of very stressed out days I even had a couple of friends check the site on their computers in different cities and they all said the same thing, everything looks good but no sound. So basically the old MusicPlay Theme works and the new does not. Let me know once you fix it thanks.

Kindly please revert back to version 7.0.0 or 6.0.0 as the latest version 7.1.0 fails to load on the Mobile devices specially IOS

I purchased this because it said it was responsive and works with multiple formats. We live in a mobile world. There is a problem if you’re selling a product that doesn’t work on mobile devices or only on old mobile devices (iPhone 5 and 5s) which are generations old (NEW devices are iPhone 7 soon to be iPhone 7s or 8).

Please fix these problems.

The issue is that your Musicplay software is not working on Apple iPhone 6Plus ios 10.1.1. There is no screenshot to be shown. Please take this seriously, Apple ios is a major mobile platform. When you advertise that the software is responsive you imply that it is mobile ready. This thread started November 5, 2016. Thank you in advance.

The issue is SPECIFICALLY with Musicplay audio player on iPhone 6PLUS and ios 10.1.1. THERE IS NO SOUND. I have the older iPhones 5 (etc.) and it works on that phone with ios 10.1.1. I also have the iPhone 6PLUS with ios 10.1.1. and there is NO SOUND FROM THE AUDIO PLAYER.
This is NOT a website issue it is a Musicplay audio player issue with the newer iPhones.
Kindly check your demo with the newer iphones SPECIFICALLY the iPhone 6PLUS with ios 10.1.1. I’ve check this over and over again in REAL world (no demo) and it does NOT work.

This thread has been going for months and I can’t seem to get Aivah to simply check Musicplay audio player against Apple iPhone 6PLUS (newer iPhone) with ios 10.1.1. Kindly do this. I thank you in advance.

I have already cross-checked and it was working fine when I tested on the version 10.1.1 in iPhone 6S, 6 and 7 as well. After that, I gave you an msg as well that its working fine and ask you to send me your website URL then I can test it at my end and let you know.
