hi there,

I have a problem with your theme and polylang.
When clicking on the second language it always redirects back to the home page instead of the translation of that same page.
It’s the only theme I’ve ever had problem with that sort of issue, tried deactivating all my other plugins but it still didn’t work.

I can view your site in both the languages without any difficulties. I don’t see any issues you have pointed out. Will you please elaborate your question with screenshots if possible.

Have you read my message carefully sir?

The problem isn’t that it doesn’t work, the problem is that when I’m on the about page for example and I click on French it should go to the french about page not the french home page.

Yes, the issue exists. If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

We have crosschecked and the issue seems to be from the plugin not from the theme. Consider take support from the plugin author of the polylang.

I have polylang installed on literally 20 other websites and other themes, you theme is the only one that does it.

We have no idea how the settings work. I checked the developer coding side in the polylang plugin authors site that may be we have to do something for making it compatible or so but i don’t find anything we have to do for making it compatibility or so. But I found one thing in that support forums are similar questions are there that they are also having an issue with the redirects on the home when clicked on the lang.

What I found on other site http://www.onedentalbeauty.com/

About Us Page URL in different languages en – About US EN and it – About Us IT

In you site its missing /en/ before the about us slug. If you try typing the en also it redirects to about-us not sure why or so. It has something to do with settings for the polylang or so may be and the french page shows perfectly with a proper code for the french locale http://exterminationfalcon.ca/fr/a-propos/ and for english its like http://exterminationfalcon.ca/about-us/

Kindly please recheck the once again in the settings you have to do in the polylang or so. I think might be you are missing some settings in the admin or so. But I am sure it has nothing to do with the theme coding for this settings as we don’t have anything in controls for redirecting it to the homepage.

If after settings your query your query is resolved please let us knew here so that it might be helpful for others as well if they use the polylang.
