According to the instructions for using holiday shortcodes it says I can find my holiday name in the “Holidays Shortcode List”.

My question is where can I find my shortcode list?

    Thank you.

You can find your holiday shortcode list in holidays section.

OK, I must be missing it. Is it supposed to be the holiday name? page slug?
I attached a picture of my holiday page.

    Yes, it is holiday name.
You have to add the shortcode like this, for example: [iva_bhrs_holidays name="Business Trip"]

Thank you, that example clears up a lot. I was going by the example in the instructions [iva_bhrs_holidays id="holiday_slug"] and it wasn’t working for me.

One thing I did notice when testing, please tell me if this is correct:

    [iva_bhrs_holidays id="Business Trip"] - Displays a single holiday
[iva_bhrs_holidays name="Business Trip"] - Displays the holiday list

Also, it doesn’t appear to be styled at all. I will explain in the next post.

    [iva_bhrs_holidays id="Business Trip"] - Displays a single holiday —> This is correct.
By mistake I have typed there name.

Regarding holiday shortcode: Issue is fixed. Edited File: iva-bhrs-shortcode-holidays.php

It appears to be working now.

Hopefully [iva_bhrs_holidays name="Business Trip"] (with name) won’t go away too fast, or if it does there will be a replacement. I don’t like using widgets and it would be nice to display the list of upcoming holidays with a shortcode instead.

    Thanks again for your help.

If you want to display the list of upcoming holidays to display, then enter the holidays names with comma separated as shown below.
    [iva_bhrs_holidays id="Business Trip1,Business Trip2,Business Trip3"] - Displays holidays of that particular holidays names.

I understand what you’re saying, thanks.

It just doesn’t seem practical that every time I add or change a holiday that I have to update every single webpage that has that shortcode on it to reflect those changes.

We’ll make an update in the next release with the shortcode that displays holidays list without specifying the holidays names with comma separated.

Hi, Sorry danfeeley for misunderstanding. I think the feature of listing the holidays is only with the widget and not with the shortcode. We will consider adding an option for listing all the holidays in the coming versions soon. You don’t have to edit the pages and add comma separated. Once you add a shortcode like [iva_bhrs_holidays list="all"] something like that then it will display all the list of holidays.

    @Fem,

Did something like this [iva_bhrs_holidays list="all"] make it into the new release?
An easy way to display all upcoming holidays from the shortcode.

    Thanks.

@danfeeley: You can use the shortcode like this [iva_bhrs_holidays id=""] with empty id’s so that it displays all the list of holidays.
