    Greetings,

I placed the library’s hours into a sidebar and I do not like the way “am” (midnight) gets wrapped onto the next line–is it possible to reduce the space between the day and the hours to make sure each day’s hours are on one line? Or can I get rid of the minutes (:00)? Please see attachment of the way they are appearing and let me know what you would do to ensure each day takes up only one line. Thank you. Emily

If you can provide us url of your website where exactly you are using the BHP plugin then we can take a closer look at it and we can trigger out the issue.

It is unpublished, but it seems to me there has to be a way to reduce the spacing to eliminate wrapping of am (we close at 12 midnight) — please respond. I don’t think this is an unreasonable request for a premium plugin whose sole purpose is to post opening and closing hours! You shouldn’t need to have my login, etc. to answer a formatting question. We are an academic institution, can’t have poor typography on our home page. Thank you. Emily

Hello?? Can you please let me know how to reduce the space between the day and the hours so each day and hour sits only on one line and I don’t have orphan am or pm on the next line? Just click on the image–that is what my sidebar looks like with BHP in it.

    Thank you,

    Emily

I can’t tell you without inspecting the issue. If you can provide url of your website then I can inspect it and I can fix the issue. If at all you are using sidebar, increase the width of that sidebar and see.

As you said I had reduced the widths of days and hours but it works only when you select weekdays shortname. And coming to the plugin, it’s not the plugin issue. It’s theme issue, the theme is designed in that way.

Pam, I need you to tell Envato to refund my money as this plugin is not going to work to meet our needs and you are unable to resolve the problem. Can you do that for me? Thank you,

    Emily

I just logged and tonight and see you fixed it! I was about to uninstall it and start working with another plugin. Do you mind my asking what you did? I will need to replicate on the school’s server once they approve the prototype so I need to know how you resolved the problem, if there is anything I will need to do should the problem arise again. Thank you, Emily

    Hi Emily,

Sorry for the inconvenience, it was unclear in explanation by our staff, It came to my notice after i see the negative ratings given by you on codecanyon anyway let me help you out with the issue.

Firstly the software always comes with bugs and based on the customers reviews and feedbacks its improved. What I noticed in your support request that using with a business hours display in a very short width(area) will make the green/red dot will display in a new line. We can make it force through css to show in a same line by reducing the widths but we have made the plugin to use text align entered option for such areas. You can opt in that feature in shortcode generating area.

If you really want to make it appear in the same line then there are again few conditions what happens if there are 1+ days in place of day? What if there are text after the am and pm? in a new line So please allow us a day of time to help me resolve your issue as our developers are off today.

The new feature from your support I found that to hide the minutes which sounds interesting and we will consider adding that hiding minutes feature too soon.

I have set the time now as centred please take a look at it and let me know if that fits your requirements. If not you can contact me via Skype so that i can share my screen to make set according to your requirements.

    Hi Fem,

It seems right before you centered everything someone had gone in there and fixed the problem and everything was appearing on one line nicely. I really do not want each day’s hours on 2 lines. Whoever got to the request a few hours before you had fixed it so all was on one line. Can you put it back so each day is one line? I have a LOT of content to add so I need to be judicious in the use of space.

All I need is day followed by time on one line. No wrapping. I do not have Skype and right now I am on a ship in the middle of the ocean–instead of my downloading and installing Skype can you just fix it the way it was?

    Thank you,

    Emily

I just went in and unchecked centering — things appear to be working fine now but I will need to know how your support fixed the original problem. One the university’s server I will not be allowed to give out credentials so I have this test site running to get all the bugs worked out and be able to show it without going though the university’s VPN. I will be using Be Theme. Originally Sunday’s closing am ( for 12:00 am) wrapped to the next line–see the screenshot I attached originally. How did that get fixed? Thank you.

Ok, The modified code was in the css file located in
wp-content/plugins/iva-business-hours-pro/assets/css/iva-bh-front.css and changed the percentage only.

Check Attached Screenshot of the changes we did.
