    Hi there. I would appreciate your help with 2 issues I have which I think are related to the hopes template.

    1. On the events page I need the heading centered just above the calendar and below the events search function. With the events calendar plugin the screenshots show that this is where the header would be usually placed. I have already tried all of the different settings on the events calendar plugin. How can I change this? Please see our page on the website: http://hoffnung-licht.ch/termine/

    2. On the peoples page we want to add quite a lot of introductory text before the people are listed. At the moment the amount of text we can add is actually limited to about 220 characters, the text after this limit just won’t show. Also your Aivah shortcodes don’t work in this text either. How can we change this? (http://hoffnung-licht.ch/ueber-uns/leitung/)

    Thanks for any help you can give.

    Wow, that was fast! Thanks so much for your help.
    Is it possible you could explain how you fixed the problem with the peoples page or is it a bit complex? Thanks again.

    In template-people.php file, I have changed this condition,

    if($people_content){
    	echo $people_content;
    	echo '<div class="divider_line"></div>';
    }

    to,

    if($post->post_content){
    	echo do_shortcode($post->post_content);
    	echo '<div class="divider_line"></div>';
    }

    Hi, sorry to bother. With the change that was made to the heading in the events page we still have a small problem. You put it in the right place, its just that the month name in the title does not update when you go to the next month, it stays on february – is this easy to fix? Thanks again for all the support.

    After changing the month and if you refresh the page, then it will show you the correct month what you have changed to.

    OK, but we have been receiving lots of complaints about it. People don’t realize they have to refresh the page and find it confusing. Is there a way around this, so that the title updates automatically? Sorry for the trouble.

    Hi there – just an update to the issue with the events title that does not automatically refresh when you change the calendar month: I contacted the plugin author as you suggested. They unfortunately think that the problem lies in the hopes template and not in their plugin. I noticed, that the header also doesn’t refresh on your calendar you have on your hopes theme preview either. So if you do ever find out where the issue lies I would love to know, thanks.
