Hello-

Something in the Hopes theme seems to be blocking tooltips on the calendar when you hover over an event. There is a Javascript error in the console: “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘innerHTML’ of null.” The error is not present if I switch to the default WordPress theme, even with all plugins enabled.

This error is present in our site and on your demo site.

Hi,

That’s not a problem with our theme. That’s a JavaScript issue in “The Events Calendar” Plugin. Please contact the plugin author.

Actually, the evidence says otherwise.

As I stated in my original post, the error only happens with your theme. With the TwentyFifteen theme, it does not occur.

Furthermore, I tried renaming the “wp-content/themes/hopes/tribe-events” folder and the problem went away. I would suggest that this would be possible on your demo as well and would indicate there is something wrong with the custom templates from the Hopes theme.
