Backslash displayed when attempting to use an apostrophe

    If the shortcode title contains an apostrophe it displays the “\” character in the title on the frontend and the backend. I attached a couple of screenshots.

    Thanks for the headsup. We have removed the backslash for the shortcode but forgot to add that in Title as well. Will consider that in the Monday Updates.

    I found another instance of this problem. If you use an apostrophe in the “Today Text” under General Settings it adds a backslash to the display on the front-end.

    If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

    I installed your newest release, which says 2.6.1 in the zip file and 2.6.0 in the plugin header.
    Anyway, this problem is back again.

    Same information as above.

    Fixed the issue. Added stripslashes for $iva_today_text.
