Hello,
Read through several similar posts about this topic but none of the resolutions are working for me. I tried putting custom CSS in the autowash>styling>custom CSS area per one resolved post and also attempted to edit the following code on the flexslider.css file itself I found at wp-content/themes/autowash/css to no avail:
.flex-title h5 span {
/*background-color:#00c1cf;*/
font-size: 45px;
line-height: 74px;
/*padding: 10px 15px;*/
font-weight: 700;
text-shadow:0 1px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
color:#00c1cf; // You can change the text color here
letter-spacing: -1px;
}
No matter what method I try I see no change in the header at all, it simply stays white.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi thanks for the reply. Below is a link to the site image in question. The words “Your #1 Car Wash in the Country” is the main title of the slider I am referring to. While I am at I would also like to be able to either mod the color or drop shadow of the description text that goes under that heading. It is just too hard to read as is.
I understand your point. That is the reason we use the images with some overlay with 0.7 opacity of black color which you can see in the live demo.
Yes for the css you are correct you can use this css
.flex-title h5 {
your properties goes here.
}
You can add the custom background color for the sliders as we have in the other themes. For that, we can do it for you if you wish. it will cost you $20.
If you wait for some time in the future updates we will be adding more functionalities of adding background colors and text colors as well soon.
Glad to here that you found the solution, Is there anything else that i can assist you with.
