    Hi,

Just go to People Posttype and add some categories. After that go to Pages–> New Page–> There you can generate the People Shortcode.

And for the three images under slider images:

    [one_third][services image="image1.jpg" title="Image1" link="#" link_text="Add some text"][/services][/one_third]
    [one_third][services image="image2.jpg" title="Image2" link="#" link_text="Add some text"][/services][/one_third]
    [one_third_last][services image="image3.jpg" title="Image3" link="#" link_text="Add some text"][/services][/one_third_last][divider style="thin" margin="30px 0 40px 0" bordercolor="#dddddd"]

Is there a way to put the individual people on pages instead of a post? It doesn’t make sense for people to be blog posts. Also, how does the shortcode know what stuff to pull from the people post?

As for the slider, how did you know that? Is that specific to Hopes, or is that a general WP thing?

Where do I access people posttype?

Is there any sort of manual I can read about this theme? All these new features are new to me. Our old theme was very simple.

    Hi,

It’s better to contact us via Skype! So that we can clarify your doubts in detail. Otherwise, go through the documentation which was provided along with the theme.

Where is that documentation found? I looked in the download from envato/themeforest, but could not find it. I tried contacting support-aws on Skype, but I’ve not received any reply over the past three days. However, I’ll check your reply on the other thread I started about Skype.

After searching through, I finally found it. It was buried a couple folders deep. It also doesn’t give me information on how to use the People shortcode other than a very short paragraph that I have followed.

I am still not seeing it work as it is supposed to. I’ve created a page, designated it as “people” in the attributes. I’m now trying to put the shortcode for people, but it asks for a category. Pages do not have categories, so I don’t click anything, and then I get this code: [people cat=”null” limit=”4″ pagination=”false”] that does nothing.

You have to create some categories. While generating the shortcode, you have to select some categories. Without categories it doesn’t shows up anything!

Where? Pages do not have categories in WP, only posts have categories.

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

Please install this plugin “Church Theme Content”. After installing, go to People Postype and create some categories. While generating the People Shortcode, it displays some categories which washas been created by you.
