Hi Support Team,

After installing the Hopes theme and importing the demo data, I ran into two issues:

1. None of the featured images in posts (Sermons, People, etc) are displayed anywhere – which mean there is just blank space in lists, posts, widgets where there should be featured images or thumbnails. (Example: http://www.wcec.club/sermon-2/)

2. The home page slider functionality is not working. No images show up (Only the unformatted texts are visible) even though there are items in the Slider pages. I replaced some of the default image files, but that didn’t help.

We have gone through your website you are not using flexslider only static image you’re using can you please tell us on which page you are facing the problem.

I have figured out the issue – it was caused by JetPack’s image optimization. Turning it off fixed both problems.

I have re-enabled the slider now to show that it’s working.

Could you kindly let me know if JetPack compatibility is a known issue with the Hopes theme? In order to make the slider and featured images appear on the site, I had to turn off JetPack’s image optimization, which isn’t ideal in the long term.

Yes, it might be an issue with image optimization. It is not compatible with the Jetpack Image Optimization
