I bought the Hopes theme with Visual Composer and am currently using it but having problems editing text blocks. When I copy and paste text into the text box editor or type any text in it comes up as white, and will not allow me to edit it whatsoever. Is this because Visual Composer needs to update? (it keeps telling me to do this but it won’t let me) When I try to update VC using the correct license key and API key (tried this many times) it says my license key is INVALID. But WordPress keeps telling me that the theme wont work properly until I’ve updated Visual Composer. Please help!

You don’t have permission to enter the license key I think you didn’t read that its only for the license purchased separately not if it comes with the theme.

Anyway We will update the plugin in the coming version soon.

But the problem I have is that it keeps telling me to update VC so the theme will work properly and I can’t without the license key.
When i click on some pages VC will not load at all, it doesnt even appear as an option??
When i go to edit text blocks in other pages the writing is white and it won’t let me edit the text.
In short, VC doesn’t seem to be working there are lots of problems when i try to use it.

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

Where does it shows that website will not work properly or so. I don’t find any such message and I see that your website works perfectly.

As I understand I do not need any activation, however it is annoying always to see
“Please activate your copy of the Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer to get update notifications, access to support features & other resources!”

How can i get rid of this?

You have to activate Ultimate VC Addons plugin to get rid of this error.

I bought the Car zone template and am very pleased. However, as have so many others asked, why do you not have the license keys for us to activate Visual Composer and Ultimate VC Add-ons plug-in? You just told this person to You have to activate Ultimate VC Add-ons plug-in to get rid of this error. I tried that and it wants a license key. As does Visual Composer. Why would you include these extremely impotent facets to your themes and not give us the license keys to use them legally?
As a web developer I have bought many themes from many developers and they always include the license keys. Could you enlighten me?

If you can provide us the names of the themes who provide the individual license within the package so that we can ask them and include the license in the package as well as we read that we can’t give our license key with the package according to the policy. But still confused.

I’ll keep that is mind.

As for your question, in some cases the plugins is updated to the latest version when the template developer releases a new or updated version of the their template. In some cases ( such as X Theme) the template has a built in licence and the plugin will update when necessary but only in the confines of that template and the one end user licence. How they achieve that is a search I don’t have time for.
