right sidebar widgets text lacks margin on mobile devices

On the sub-pages of this site http://www.wowesd.org/about-wowe/ I added some custom CSS with your assistance, for the right sidebar. The problem is on mobile devices the text in the sidebar is against the left of the column and doesn’t look good because of the colored background. Can we add a bit of padding to these widgets to make the mobile view more pleasing?

Second issue (mobile devices) – on the home page 3 column widget area: Is it possible to have one column at a time and widen so they fit the mobile screen?
