Excluding Album Genre from displaying

Hi,

i need your help again and would like to know
if there is an option to exclude specific album genre from displaying without deleting it.
examples Album Genres:
AAA
BBB
CCC
DDD
EEE

and Genre DDD should be excluded from displaying by clicking main menu “albums”
because this Genre is highlighted&featured via Album Genre in main menu already and be should removed
from general albums overview display temporarily.
Is this possible
