Post count: 5Hello,
I am using the blog shortcode on a few pages on our site and I was wondering if there was a way to make it function a little differently.Currently, I’m using this shortcode:
[blog cat="21" meta="false" limit="2" pagination="false" imgheight="500" image="true" blogstyle="post2" charlimits="300"]
As you can see, I want it to be 300 characters long. However, my client is not liking the fact that the text will sometimes cut off mid-word. Here is an example:
Next year’s prize for the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation benefit motorcycle drawing is this beautiful creamy 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special, obtained with help of Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City. The bike, delivered Sept. 14, is on display at the Crazy Horse Welcome Center. Tic
Is it possible to make it so that it is a word limit instead of a character limit? That would make it so this wouldn’t be a problem anymore.
Or, failing that, is there a way to make it so the shortcode can see if there is a “Read More” cutoff in the post itself?
Thanks for any help you are able to give
