Dear Aivah Themes developers,
I have purchased the musicplay theme in order to create a new website for our radio station. However, unfortunately the Icecast 2 metadata is not working for us. Our stream address is http://rs7.stream24.net/clubfm.mp3 and we definitely transmit the title and artist information but the player cannot seam to display it. How can we sort this out?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. We have tested this with multiple servers and none (except for the demo stream in the demo data) was working with the metadata.
Kind regards!
Hello,
Icecast URL something similar to like http://aska.ru-hoster.com:8053/stream with the port number this will be fetched the meta information of your URL.

Hi,
thanks for the quick reply. Since we use port 80, it is not necessary to add the port to the URL in our case. We have tried this but it also didn’t work. The player works but just the title and artist information is not being displayed. If we can’t get the title info to work, we unfortunately won’t be able to use this theme.
It would be great if you could test this in one of the demo installations to see if you can reproduce this error. Alternatively, I can give you access to the website by creating an account for you (it is currently in maintenance mode because it is still under development).
Kind regards
It has something to do with your Icecast server settings. Check below URL’s
This is another website using the musicplay theme with Icecast http://aska.ru-hoster.com:8053/
This is your URL http://rs7.stream24.net/
Try converting your content type from the Icecast server
Currently its Content Type: audio/aacp
Convert to Content Type: audio/mpeg
Hello,
which .xml file do you use to get the metadata from the server? We have checked the config and could not find anything that could lead to this issue. It would be great to know where the player gets it’s metadata from in order to troubleshoot this better.
Thanks!
PS: The content type is only aac for our mobile stream, the main stream that we want to use with the player is mp3.
Hello there,

Aivah.
Unfortunately, I haven’t received a reply to my latest posts yet. The content type is already audio/mpeg for our mp3 stream and audio/aacp for our mobile stream (which is not used with this player).
If we can’t get the metadata working, we unfortunately won’t be able to use the theme at all.
Kind regards
